P.E

 Gymnastics

For the last month we have been doing gymnastics in P.E. I feel gymnastics is a fun sport to do. In previous years when I have done gymnastics, quiet a few times we have done it in front of class mates and the things we did were not as interesting as this year. My favourite apparatus is the trampoline because it is fun to jump on it. The things I have learnt are highlighted in the doc below along with the things I already knew(which have been crossed out).

Science: Resistance

 How does resistance affect current?

Resistance: resistance is about pushing back. Resistance slows down the current.

Current: Current is how quickly the electrons move.
Voltage: Is how much energy the electrons are carrying.

- In series: In a series circuit the electrons go/pass through one path.
-In parallel: In a parallel circuit the electrons split into the different pathways/branches.

- The image on the left shows the difference between having a resistor and not having one/

-When there is a resistor the resistor slows down the currents.

-More resistance means the currents are slower.
-less resistance means that the currents are faster.

To differentiate between the two:
If you look at the series circuit with the resistor you will notice that the light is very less compared to the parallel circuit, which has more energy because there is nothing slowing down the electrons.
