I disagree with the statement that 'Rugby is the most definitive sport of Aotearoa', because their are other sports such as Cricket and netball that also define and represent New Zealand at a very high level that can also be considered to be sports that define New Zealand at sports.

Dissolving: Chemistry

Soluble(in Water):

3 ways to speed up dissolving:

1. Heated water

2. stirring  

3.Smaller particles

For our mini experiment we did 3 comparison between the amount of time it takes for sugar to dissolve in Hot water, Cold water and Hot water while stirring the sugar.

From the observation the fastest method in which the sugar dissolves in is Hot water in which you the stirr  sugar.

 Schools should have more mufti days:

I disagree with the statement that 'Schools should have more mufti days' because mufti days are suppose to be occasional, for some days only. Like we have mufti days on days such as Athletics, Outing/trips, Pink shirt day, meaning days that are specifically only for wearing mufti. Wearing mufti can make you late for school if you don't choose your clothes fast enough in the morning. mufti day can also affect kids/students learning because they get distracted with the different range of clothes and colours that appear in front of them. Therefore schools should just keep mufti days minimum and occasional because of the reasons above.

In today's lesson we were suppose to partners with someone for a a activity which required us to re-draw a picture without seeing the picture we were meant to draw from the help of your partner. For this task I was partnered with EJ. EJ had a picture which was hidden from me and he had to describe it and tell me where to draw what.

In this task the Interpersonal(IP) I used were verbal, Non-verbal and active listening skills. 

I used verbal and non-verbal IP skills with EJ by repeating what he said and the hand

 gestures he used to explain the size of the objects, etc. I used Listening IP skills by listening to EJ, not fiddling, nodding my head.

These Inter Personal(IP) skills helped me to be successful in completing the drawing I had done.

If I were to do it again I would try to hurry up so I could complete the task(within the lesson).

I believe I worked at level 3 in this lesson because I was focused on finishing the task and also I worked well with my partner to achieve a good piece of work.

Although I didn't finish the Drawing, this is what it looked like in the end(incomplete)

I disagree with the statement that 'Cats are better pets than Dogs'. I disagree because cats are lazy and not that helpful to have. Dogs are believed to be better pets than cats, because dogs are loyal, sympathetic and protective(help when you need). Dogs are always by your side, they protect you, sometimes when people are blind dogs help guide the blind people.

In my opinion, I think that school uniforms should be mandatory because it represents our school and it  represents us. When we wear our school uniforms we show which school we go to, uniforms make us look more tidy and formal.

Rat Dissection

last week on Tuesday we did a rat dissection, in which we opened up a rat and looked at its organ sand body parts. The reason for this dissection was to be able to identify parts of a body. 

I did not enjoy the Rat dissection because, firstly, it was pretty smelly and secondly, because it was not the best sight.^-^.

I believe that elephants are the greatest animals of all time, because They are smart, strong and nice, too. Elephants are the largest land animals and are known to be caring animals. they only eat plants and fight to defend themselves...

English: School holidays should only be 1 week long.

 Week 1 do now: School holidays should only be 1 week long.

School holidays should only be 1 week long! I disagree, because the school holidays are our(us children's) only time to chill, in which we visit people important to us, new, exciting places,  do things that we enjoy which affects our wellbeing in positive ways. It is not only children that are affected by just 1 week long holidays, teachers also get affected because they work way more harder than children but don't get enough holidays or chill time.
